this place is just beautifull, the location is stunning n easy to get to. the superior room was spacious n clean. loved the pool area – it was really chill, even when busy. the steak at dinner was delish, can’t stop thinkin about it. staff were super friendly and helpful, love it.
only complaints were that the bed was two singles pushed together n the shower could be better. also, it can get a bit busy at breakfast.

Quality dining options, luxurious spa services, beautiful grounds
Inconsistent service levels lead to frustration!!! Spa areas show neglect with broken lockers and overcrowding!!! The lack of proper information upon check-in made navigating challenging!!!

I recently stayed at Oulton Hall, and I'll start with what I loved. The hotel sits in a beautiful setting, surrounded by stunning grounds that make for a picturesque view. Upon arrival, I found the lobby quite impressive, with its elegant decor. Checking in was straightforward, though I had to wait a bit due to only one staff member at the desk. The room itself, a Yorkshire Double Room, was spacious. it needed some updates. the comfort of the bed was less than ideal since it was two singles pushed together, which created an awkward ridge down the middle. The decor was nice, giving a charm to my stay. The cleanliness could have been better—there were some missed spots in the bathroom that I found rather off-putting. Breakfast offered a decent selection, but the execution fell short. The scrambled eggs were strangely flavored, and the fried eggs were either overdone or undercooked. I ended up feeling let down by the breakfast experience. One more thing, the noise from the bar could be heard in my room, which was quite distracting, especially at night.

Had a blast with my friends here! We played on the well-groomed fairways of the golf course and enjoyed some drinks at the clubhouse afterward. The food was great too! Make sure you check out the nearby Cannon Hall Farm for a fun day out.
We faced a little hiccup with the old TV in our room that didn’t have apps for streaming services, which was a letdown after a long day.

Stunning hotel with lovely garden views. Delightful to find a birthday card and treats waiting for mum! The pool was tempting, but we skipped it since it wasn't a 'swim with mum' situation.
The wedding reception made the halls sound like a bar fight—who invited all those people, anyway? I guess mum's birthday party just turned into a surprise rave!

A Wonderful Stay with Family
We spent two nights in a Classic Double Room and enjoyed a lovely meal in the Great Hall. The attentive staff made our stay memorable, especially with their wonderful service. Heads up for the steep entrance. our car struggled a bit! Overall, a great family getaway.

Recommend it for couples seeking relaxation
We had a great time at the pool area, it was small but cozy enough for a lovely swim and relaxation. the staff were top-notch, especially in the restaurant where we had a fantastic meal that was worth every penny, felt like we were treated like royalty.
It wasn't exactly a bargain but you get what you pay for.

Had an amazing time relaxing in the beautiful indoor pool and enjoyed the spa facilities during our stay. The only downside was that the chairs outside the champagne bar weren't as comfy as we hoped since they lacked cushions. Definitely try the steak at dinner. it was a standout dish! 🍷
